Background
Malibu was rescued as a wee pup together with his Mommy Hailey and 5 other littermates. He found a home as a puppy but was returned after a year. He was no longer treated well in the home.
Currently, the team is working to rehabilitate Malibu's separation anxiety. Sincere adopters who are willing to work with us to help Malibu can reach out to us to find out more.
Temperament
Malibu is friendly to both humans and dogs. He is very respectful of other dogs' space and will assimilate well in a household that has existing dogs.
Malibu has developed separation anxiety as he was returned. Our team of volunteers is working hard on rehabilitating him. With proper guidance, Malibu can overcome his separation anxiety.
He is very affectionate and loves being pat. He will look for you and ask for pats. He is a young dog with so much love to give and we are hoping to find him a home, this time a forever home.
Training
Malibu is undergoing rehabilitation. Keen adopters can arrange visits to the shelter to bond with Malibu. In Malibu's case, a potential adopter will have to engage a trainer to help set him up for success.

Known to be ok with children. Malibu might be a great addition to a household with an existing dog to help with his anxiety.
