Groot and Rocket’s 6 other siblings were found at a construction site on 25th September. The mommy dog was too afraid of humans and didn’t return to feed them when construction works started.
Unfortunately, 1 puppy was found dead so we had to rush to get the rest of them out. With the errant weather in the past few days, we can’t imagine how they would have survived if they were left to fend for themselves. Thank you Causes for Animals - Singapore for funding the medical bills and we are also grateful to the feeder that notified us.
He is a highly inquisitive, intelligent pup and he picks up on things very quickly so a firm handler is needed to follow up with training. He will thrive in an environment with structure and boundaries.
Groot loves people and he doesn't take long to warm up to people as long as you provide him with lots of treats, praise and pats! Generally, he gets along well with other dogs
As he is still a young pup, he is teething. Nipping and chewing things is an issue that should be expected and dealt with in training.
Groot is peepad and grass trained.
Groot is a high energy pup who will thrive in a household that leads an active lifestyle
