Background
Brandy was rescued as a wee pup together with his Mommy Hailey and 5 other littermates. He found a home however things started to get nasty for him as the guests of the house started splashing water at him. He dreaded going home. He had a bite history with only one of the members at home. After much consideration of the family, they decided to return Brandy to LTV.
When Brandy came back to us, he did not do well in the shelter. He was having anxiety, which is understandable as he had been in a home environment for one year. Because of the stress, he had loose stools for at least 1-2 weeks. He started settling down after our volunteers provided him with lots of TLC.
Brandy is a very sweet boy, who loves and yearn for both human and dog companionship.
Temperament
Brandy is a very friendly paw companion, passive and affectionate.
He has low confidence which might trigger his flight instincts when left alone and may have separation anxiety. His future adopter should work on exercising healthy distancing and empowerment at the very start of the relationship.
Brandy is great with other dogs and humans. He is big on making dog friends and able to respect the other dogs' mood and space.

Brandy loves his outings!
